Is it easy to live a completely halal lifestyle in certain parts of the world today? No. Yet Allah will never give us more burdens than we are able to bear. So there is great benefit in the constant struggle to abandon the impermissible and embrace what is permissible for the pleasure of Allah and for ourselves.
